Space, style and display

were the primary design factors in the complete refurbishment of this succesful high end vintage clothing shop situated right on Brighton's fashionable seafront promenade.

We chose a neutral colour scheme with strong colour accents to show off the colour of the clothes at their best and designed an efficient system with storage beneath and display above to show off key items.

Sourcing of store items, mirrors cabinets and lighting fittings to compliment the overall look was an important factor to keep the budget down without compromising on quality.

Our 3d drawings and construction documents were key in

Clean lines and clever colour

was our approach in this complete transformation from whole walls of small blue mosaic tiles to flat whites
and anthracite with orange accents.
A specially designed vanity unit was commissioned and built from Corian with a recessed sink to create a seamless look, that is stylish and is
easy to clean. We had the recesses sprayed to match the bespoke tap colour that was created by a specialist sprayer. Rather than opt for the standard recessed ceiling lights we chose outdoor specified lighting set
into the walls at carefully chosen
points, creating a soft light in use
and architectural feel in placing.

We designed and had made the tiles that sit behind the sink. With a strong graphic impact in a restrained palette they link up the more monotone elements in the room with the decorative colour of the tap and other elements such as the wall heater which can swing out to allow for easy use for drying. Wifi controlled underfloor heating was specified and installed to keep the space open and clutter free.

Recessed orange shelving was set into the wall space created by the concealed cistern to keep a streamlined look. The shower area was dramatically improved through the installation of a minimally framed high quality shower enclosure with an angled corner which created a good flow from entrance into the space. Matt black shower and controls combined with an offset vertical tile arrangement compliment the overall theme of the shower room and add to the feel of a high quality solution.
